“IKO IKO – Singing the Sounds of Louisiana” was performed on April 17th and 19th, 2026, in the Covington High School auditorium, Covington, LA.  Songs in this program included many written about Louisiana and by Louisiana artists.  Among the most well-known were:  “Jambalaya (On the Bayou),” “Sing, Sing, Sing” by Louis Prima, “You are My Sunshine,” and “New Orleans Ladies.”
