Into the Woods With Stephen Sondheim
On Friday, October 16, and again on Sunday, October 18, 2015, the NPAS Singers entertained enthusiastic audiences with a great selection of musical favorites from the career of composer Stephen Sondheim. Taking place at the Furhmann Auditorium in Covington, the event offered a memorable variety of works of Sondheim, the legendary composer and lyricist best known for his contributions to Broadway. Mr. Sondheim’s most famous works include: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; Company; Follies; A Little Night Music; Sweeney Todd; Sunday in the Park; and Into the Woods. Performances included not only the most popular choruses, duets, and solos from famous shows, but also featured a special appearance by the Northshore High School Choirs directed by Nathan Sumrall.
